The population was consistent, since the end of march. But since this past friday, when the news about 343i recruiting developers that hate Halo came out, the population hit an all new low point.
Do you believe that it's possible that the vocal community is responsible for that drop, because of the mentioned news? Or do you believe that something else is causing the drop?

Why do I find enjoyment in watching 343i failing series?
-
I've lost faith in 343i after I had found out they hired people that hated Halo. What the hell man...
-
I see 28k as the low... But even then it's still incredibly low. I miss the golden days of Halo 2 and Halo 3, when Halo was at the top.
-
1 ReplyKinda pathetic considering Reach peaks at about 19k daily. 343I should have hired developers that enjoyed Halo.
-
So much for the "vocal minority".
-
H4's population drops to 20k.
*Goes to HaloCharts. Can't find a population under 27k.* How the -blam!- does 20k = 27k?
-
1 ReplyI haven't played Halo 4 in weeks. Once I reached 130, I had no motivation to continue. If the actual enjoyability of a game isn't what's keeping you playing it, the developer is doing something wrong.

MAN THE HARPOONS THE WORLD IS ENDING!

6 RepliesEdited by RomanGladiator7: 4/30/2013 10:41:51 PM343i you can redeem yourselves by giving us Halo 2HD. Every map remade in HD glory. Imagine how many would play that, certainly more than Halo 4. Actually I don't know how I feel about them touching campaign though. They'd probably use the Halo 4 Chief and Cortana models...maybe campaign should stay intact. They don't need to remake the entire soundtrack and sounds like they did with HCEA. For me it's hard to imagine Halo 2 with HD graphics, I still think the graphics are impressive today.

1 ReplyProblem: It's not the weekend. The population is low in any game (apart from CoD) during the week.

I've been playing Reach since it first came out and I'm still content with it. Halo 4 on the other hand, I was tired of within the first month.
-
gg Halo It was good while it lasted.
Do you believe that it's possible that the vocal community is responsible for that drop, because of the mentioned news? Or do you believe that something else is causing the drop?
Something else. Mainly the fact that Halo 4's multiplayer isn't very good.
-
5 Repliessome fanboys at waypoint I'm sure will defend it even when the population gets to 5k lol
-
2 RepliesLets face it. Halo really did end with Halo 3. The following titles were spin offs and Halo 4 is a joke. All great things must have and end, and I am glad that real Halo ended on the high note of Halo 3
-
Think we all need to start playing Halo 3 again and repopulate.
-
3 RepliesIf you all hate 343i/Halo 4 this much then why do you care about population totals?
-
Saw this coming from the release date. :/ Oh well, Halo died a while ago for me.

Edited by DEZARATH: 4/30/2013 1:56:28 PMThe net code, horrible maps, stupid post launch choices like level caps and the map pack fiasco. Little to no engagement with their own official forums, DLCs pushed out to fast. Annoying dialogue in Spartan Ops, vehicles reduced from the sandbox, no firefight options, ect, ect, ect....the list could go on. Only fan boys who want to play a watered down space COD need apply.
-
More worryingly..... the off-peak population now gets lower than 2500. Eventually the off-peak Halo population will bottom out completely. Terrible game is terrible. It's a good job they hired all those developers who hate Halo.
-
1 ReplyWhat is Reach's population?
-
People are still playing that pile of shit?
-
3 Repliesin a nut shell, what are you talking about, 343i recruiting? I don't have time to read a full article. Or I'm just to lazy.
-
Wow. That's all I can really say. I can't believe how fast the Xbox's flagship title went down under.
