Flood, should I buy this car?

Here's the link to the car's page. So what I'm asking is, should I buy this car or not? I've been looking for one for some time now, and summer is approaching fast. Yes, I understand that I'd basically only be able to drive this in the summer. Also, no poll for you tonight.

  • Things to consider first: -Are you mechanical in nature, and able to work on it as needed? -Are you willing to put the time and upkeep into it, if it requires it? -Are you aware of the rarity and availability of parts for it? As an investment, this could be a good car to get, but to hang on to. I would not treat it like a daily driver. Collectibles are worth more with less wear and tear, and miles. So, if you can maintain it yourself and wish to drive it full time, go for it. If you wish to have it only because you think it's cool, but do not have the ability to repair it as needed, pass. Cool costs $$$$$. There are different levels of both parts of that.

  • 34 horsepower? LOL. I think my riding lawnmower has more.

    • Cars that old tend to follow the BOAT mantra: Bust Out Another Thousand. But, if the extra maintenance and wrench time is worth it, go for it.

      • Unless you have the money to put into it to keep it running - no. Any car that old will instantly become a project car.
