Some people, like me, see that advertisements are a necessary annoyance in order to obtain free content. That's true whether it's in a newspaper, television, or on YouTube. Those of us who realize this will never install a program like AdBlock, because we like the free content and understand the business model behind it. However, it is certainly possible that a program like this could gain enough users and enough popularity that some advertisers will no longer see any value in advertising through these channels. And it is furthermore possible that if that happens, these services could become paid services or go away entirely.
