3 RepliesI really wish Destiny will come to PC as I'm not really too impressed by the next generation consoles. PS4 did show some interesting visuals, but simply the controller is turning me away. As far as the next generation Xbox goes, it sounds extremely unimpressive according to the leaks. My PC in its current state (that is, it isn't really amazing and I'm planning to upgrade it) is better than the Xbox. So, with a PC that can do everything I would want a console to do, plus more, I see very little reason to buy a console. If Destiny is a console exclusive, I will really have to think about what I'll do with it. But for the sake of a good experience, I really hope the game will come to PC.

Xbox 720 for sure. Bungie already has tons of experience working with the general Xbox system, and the next generation console will only amplify the power that they have to work with. Also, the Xbox system has a much better party system/friends list system, which will reflect very well with the whole social aspect Bungie claims to be putting into the game. It will be good on the PS4, but the Xbox 720 and Xbox Live system will overall play off of the features supposedly in Destiny much better.

In Development part: The contract outlined an agreement between Bungie and Activision to develop and publish, respectively, four Destiny games, with the first to be released in the third or fourth quarter of 2013.

Since I will be in college I'll probably be playing a bit with my friend who's getting a PS4... I won't have the monies to buy a next gen lol!

If it comes out on PC, I'm all over it. Otherwise, it'll be PS4 for me, which is really weird coming from a long time Xbox fan.

3 RepliesI don't understand why people think the xbox or ps whatever is better than the PC, it's so much better. I used to say that I didn't like PC's but then I actually got one (so that's likely the reason) and the experience is so much better. And to people who say it won't come out on PC, halo 1 and 2 did, and halo 3 didn't because Microsoft wanted to sell consoles. Activision doesn't own the playstation so they'll likely sell it to PC's to get more revenue.

The only platform I really want to get this on is PC, so I'm hoping a PC version will be announced. I have a 360, but I want to leave the Xbox ecosystem. I have a PS3, but I dislike the controller for FPS games, so that only really leaves me with one other choice...

There really isn't an answer. A question like this really comes down to opinion. Each system will have it's pros and cons, and it's really up to what each individual player thinks.

I'll probably get it for 360. I'm going to be holding off on the PS4 (because right now the rumours of the 720 just AREN'T looking promising) until it is a lot cheaper.

PS4 will likely be one of the best, but I'll be running on a Xbox 360 and hoping that nothing is different between the Xbox 360 version and the PS4 other than graphic quality.

waiting to see what neXtBox offers, but after seeing PS4 intro, for a nano-second i wondered if i could face a future without Halo. almost bound to end up with Xbox i think.

30 RepliesThe next xbox will more than likely provide the best experience: it has the majority of bungie's fanbase already, it sells more FPS games than any other platform by a large margin on most games (CoD is was nearly 3 million), and it has a more active multiplayer environment. But we'll just have to wait and see what actual features the next xbox has before making too many assumptions.
