  • The Tribunal were nothing more then imposers who gained power from the Heart of Lorkhan, and used it to win the hearts and minds of the people of Morrowind. The Eight created the world you stand upon.

*cough* *cough* Correction Lorkhan more or less created Nirn. after Anu and Sithis and Padomay and all the Aedra were made, Lorkhan gathered a bunch of the Aedra (Some weren't interested or stayed behind) and said "we should make our own world filled with our own little peeps". But what he didn't tell them is that they had to sacrafice their divinity to make the world, some of them tried to flee and were able to save some of their divinity but were still bound to Nirn, others decided to give up their divinity to create Nirn (Magnus was all like "Oh hell nah!" and got the -blam!- outta there) Lorkhan was the last to give himself up, his body apparently makes up the land mass of Nirn, so the heart of Lorkhan is a part of Nirn itself. So yeah, The Eight had nothing to do with it, They're power just got sucked so much that they can't walk the planet. If they knew what Lorkhan was up to they'd probably have opted out. Anyway, another little fun factoid is that the only difference between Aedra and Daedra is that the Daedra were smart enough not to go hang out with Lorkhan. The Altmer made the distinction of Aedra and Daedra based on who helped create Nirn. Daedra didn't, because they're smart. Aedra did, because they're gullible fools. Besides that there is no real difference.

  • I know of the whole Lorkhan plot, and I thought the Eight were part of the creation of Nirn.

They were, I edited my post. But their involvement was very little. It's 2AM I can't think about plot right now!

Yep. The Eight can't interact with the mortal realm or posses physical forms because all their energy got sucked into creating Nirn, which is why a lot of people find the Daedric Lords more attractive. They weren't apart of the creation of Nirn, so that's why they have their planes of oblivion, physical forms, and their ability to interact with mortals. If the eight didn't go with Lorkhan, they'd be almost exactly like the Daedra except their spheres wouldn't be..as evil... I've done extensive research on Elder Scrolls lore, yet I've only scratched the surface.

  • Yet they do nothing to help the people. Do their temples give homeless beggars shelter like the tribunal? Do they prevent the blight from escaping Red Mountain and destroying the land like the tribunal? Have they stopped Akavari invasions? You might as well worship deadra.
