Here's what he has to do for me to take this seriously: 1. Turn over all the Vatican's evidence regarding these cases to local authorities. 2. Demand all those who abused or were complicit in abuse (including Ratzinger) to turn themselves in 3. Give massive payouts to the survivors and their families

Actions speak louder then words Pope. There is a massive amount of evidence incriminating numerous cardinals and the previous pope. Send the prosecutors loose and then I will believe this is nothing more then trying to have a nice PR message.

Hopefully he can do something to directly address the problem, instead of downplaying it or shuffling priests around like a shell game.
