I mean lets say I call a girl or ugly, somebody will always say "No she's not she's beautiful".
I Mean surely beauty is a matter of opinion not fact.
As far as im concerned its on par with "Nobody loses your all winners" sentimentality.
What do you think?
PS: Half the time you can call a guy ugly and nobody defends them, this is mostly to do with women.
As far as im concerned its on par with "Nobody loses your all winners" sentimentality.
not really. in a game there are specific objective parameters by which one is branded a winner or a loser. we can say that in general people find others with symmetrical faces or slim bodies attractive but that isn't the case for everybody. there are different opinions on ugly and attractive, whereas there aren't with winners and losers in a game (depending on how complicated the rules are of course)

Edited by DEZARATH: 3/28/2013 9:10:10 PMIt's better to treat people with respect. You'll go farther via networking and building associations by being kinder and a gentlemen. Nobody likes A crowd jack holes who never left High School behind. Plus people change. We all know that one girl who was not attractive then somewhere down the road she turns into a goddess with a great personality because it didn't come easy for her. It really depends on the personality also. A hot girl with a asshole personality gets ugly pretty fast .

Ok well how about calling them ugly? Don't just focus on the fat thing.

Beauty is opinion. Granted, there are facial and physical features that most people find attractive, but those are still just opinion.

Edited by Mayhem: 3/28/2013 8:39:49 PMWell, it's not necessarily true that a fat person will react by wanting to lose weight. They might already be depressed and they're eating because that's how they cope, so you've effectively worsened the problem. They could also have a thyroid problem or be on medication that makes them fat. I'd say the best way to go about things is to not say anything at all if you can't say anything positive. Besides that, it's not wrong to call someone beautiful if you think they're beautiful. If you don't think they're beautiful, you're basically just lying for the sake of lying.

Depends. I would say "you would look really damn good if you lost weight" before I would call someone fat.
