Why would you automatically assume Night Vision is necessary? If the environments are so dark that it's a must-have, then I'd be for that. But I wouldn't want it just for the sake of it.

    Do a little experiment next time you play Reach Firefight and play with Night vision on. You'll note how much easier it is to see the outline of the Covenant compared to normal vision. It'll come in handy against fast moving Ai if it's a Bungie Night Vision lens. Especially off world on moons or space stations. I found it even excellent in broad daylight in Firefight so I'm wanting my Vision back. Ha where's my blanky?

  • Yeah, but I was playing Limited so any edge to keep alive was used to protect the player life count, so I got used to the green and it really allows you to focus on your targets.
