I'm going to be getting one soon, my old Nokia brick finally died so I'm moving up to the smartphone generation but looking at reviews online it seems that the 3G is well crap
so can anyone offer me their own opinion on the 3G ?

You can have my old iPhone 3G with it's slightly cracked screen for free. That's how much i think that phone sucks now. Then again, i did make a giant leap from an iPhone 3G to a the Samsug Galaxy S3

Edited by ElfinAinu: 3/8/2013 7:10:13 PMHaving read your thread and seeing you've got a £100 budget, how about instead of buying an Iphone of any distinction, instead buy a samsung or HTC for £100 which will be just as good as the iphone will be; yet staying within budget.

2 RepliesI had the 3G and now have the 4. It really doesn't make much of a difference which one I use honestly, the only difference I have noticed is the 4's minuscule amount of superior processing power.

The iPhone 3G is 5 generations old. Save your money for something better.

2 RepliesThe 4 is free if you renew your contract along with it.

3 RepliesThe 4 is way better and relatively cheap right now.

1 ReplyYou should check out some apps that you need and see it they're still compatible.

3 RepliesI used to have one of those. They are terribly slow and laggy and the battery life is atrocious.
