https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtA-I_Lpz_M This would work well just before a giant fight between some Fallen and Guardians.

Are you serious about all those tracks fitting in with destiny?
-
sure why not? other than the deadmau5 at least It probably wouldn't happen though, I doubt music like this would be appreciated by the people in charge of deciding what music is played.

Edited by adamj004: 3/7/2013 6:17:33 PMBut they are hip hop jazz music how could they fit into a deep story adventure sci fi game? they would be so out of place. It's nothing to do with the people in charge not appreciating that music it's just a game like destiny wouldn't be the right place for it, it simply wouldn't fit in with the game. I'm not knocking the music you like it's just imo it's not the right music for destiny although I have always loved porcelain by moby it does have a feel of space exploration.

I would say that they fit b/c giving a deep story adventure sci fi a fun new musical twist that gives playing the game a bit more energy would be uplifting.

I'm with you sorta, new twists on music are great but it wouldn't fit at all. This just doesn't seemt o be what Bungie produces, the songs they make always get you to ponder what next, or feel the sense of adventure. A sense of granduer that you get when exploring something new and dangerous. These songs are cool and give a little bit of a cool guy kinda feel. Like the music that would play when you beat a game like Borderlands for example, they play this music that makes you feel like the cool guy. It's not that it won't be appreciated but it just doesn't jive with what they are going for. Especially since they are very poppy/jazzy/hip hop like. They all seem like something that would highlight the main character doing something cool in Slo-Mo in a movie or like I said in Borderlands. Porcelain actually gives that exact feeling, like the Hero is just walking down the road after winning his intense battle with the bad guy and doesn't know what he is gonna do next, hes just wandering looking for his next destination, his next world to save. It gives a very awesome anime vibe but not something i see for Destiny.

Edited by Sir Kenneth: 3/8/2013 4:25:57 AMOk then how about using this kind of music for the cut-scenes. Many open world games have missions that lead to cut-scenes at the finale for example. Play this kind of (high energy) music for the purely video segments of the game; music like the stuff I posted could potentially also lead to more creative and exciting cut-scenes. How about when at the end of taking out some big bad alien dude, there is a cut to a short film, using Destiny's graphics engine, showing you walk up to steal the fallen enemy's strange alien revolver. It would be epic.
