no question about it. there IS going to be splitscreen. its something bungie was always good at and always did.
-
I think there should be split screen
-
I really hope they put this in!
-
Yes please.
-
I don't see why not
-
I think there should be split screen. But it's not required or anything. Because my friend isn't getting an Xbox One for another year and he wants to play Destiny with me so it would be nice if he could come over and play.
-
No. No following you and no split screen.
-
Bungie practically invented the "Guest". It'd be a real shame and disappointment if Destiny didn't have guest features.
-
What if they could only play as one of your accounts other player slots. That way if you tried to cheat you'd just be taking from your own character.
-
Personally, I won't buy it if it doesn't have splitscreen. I play with my girlfriend, and we only have one console. So if I don't have splitscreen then she gets left out and that's not cool.
-
I think split screen would be great for destiny. I still remember the days before online gaming and it was always fun( except when my brother would cheat by knocking the controller out of my hand). Call me crazy but I don't think I should always have to use a headset to talk to someone I am playing video games with. As far as guest I'm still on the fence about that it could be fun but I'm not sure how it would be fair for the guest. Everybody in my house or that comes by to play games has there own account so I don't think I would use the guest anyway.
-
I'd be a little disappointed if bungie doesn't add split screen. That was one of the great features for playing halo multiplayer.
-
I hate splitscreen, always have and always will.
-
yes I would like my little brother to be able to play Destiny with me and my friends
-
It is my number one hope.
-
I think split screen should be allowed and as much as I hate the idea of no guests I have to agree with Hylebos that the guests wouldn't have much fun in game.
-
Yes there should, but like everyone else it's one of those things that might be hard to integrate into the game. With public events and all that if they were a level one when everyone else is 10 or higher they would basically be useless. Now, they could match the level with the host but then how will the gun system work for them? Knowing bungie they have always had couch coop and I'm sure they will keep it alive.
-
Yes. If not for the entire game, just at least for competitive multiplayer would be nice.
-
There definitely should be split screen. But I agree with some people. Guests would be very difficult to DJ because they would always be either level one, or would have the same stuff you have which obviously won't work because there can only be one of each guardian in a fire team. What I'm trying to say is, if I'm a level 10 warlock. The guest would have to be a level 1 hunter or Titan in order for it to work. I can see splitscreen being possible if each player plays as his own online user. Then that would work as long as you are different guardians.
-
Yes then i can play with my friends.
-
I don't see guests working out well, mostly because they have no saved data and this game hugely revolves around finding loot and growing as a character. It just wouldn't be as fun for them.
-
I think it would be a nice feature but then there is still the question how? I mean in Halo it wasn't a problem because you only played master chief but if you play with a friend with no account how will that go? I mean what class does he plays? What armor will he use? OR will he be a replica of what you use?
-
i think splitscreen would be awesome ! hope they have 4 player splitscreen too,for tdm
-
Split-screen is nothing but a performance issue.
-
Destiny NEEDS split screen! I cannot express it enough. Because there are many Xbox players that don't have the luxury of Xbox live and would see split screen as being the only way to play with friends. I personally believe it is a great idea for when I have a buddy over!
-
Of course there should be its not like it could cause any problems
