yea it's a shame, I just want the cod kids to experience an arena shooter. I'm waiting for some hero game dev to make a skill based arena shooter. All games do is try to be cod now and it doesn't work. :(

Yea I guess so. I mean the shooters coming out now aren't bad but they don't even match arena shooters. I would be surprised to see an arena shooter on consoles anytime soon, they're mostly on pc now.

Only argument CoD kids have against arena shooters is "not realistic!". As if that really even matters. And yeah most games do try to be more casual and accesible because they mostly care about sales. They just try to do away with skill gaps because they think that somebody should always do good or that everybody should have a chance to have a good game and they don't realize that half the fun is actually improving at the game.

Any chance I can join in on the superiority complex CoD bash circle jerk? You had a good thread. Being condescending to people who play and enjoy different games than you doesn't make you look cool or better, nor does it serve any point. It is pointless and sad elitism.
