Really OP you like the helmets? I find they kind of look bland. They almost look like Halo 4 helmets which look spectacularly bad. The Destiny helmets have no flare or uniqueness to them and where the hell are visors? I know this nitpicking but it really infuriates me when people make shitty looking helmets without any visors. It just looks artistically tacky and idiotic when a huge chunk of metal plain metal is covering your character's face. I don't have a lot to judge by right now. But man if these helmets are anything like what we've seen so far. Consider them boring.

I don't think you read my whole post did you? It's not about how I like the helmets at all. Try & give it a read. Thanks.

I was only commenting the first bit of your post. And yes I read your entire post and I know what you're talking about. My commentary has nothing to do with the other parts of your post. I should have probably labeled that.

Oh lol! Well I wasn't saying I like the helmets. I was saying helmets are awesome in general. So yeah I agree with you. Thanks for the reply. ^_^

You're complaining about the lack of completely impractical shiny things that make it easier to hit you and are easier to shoot through than the rest of the armor?
-
What the hell are you talking about? I'm talking about how appealing it looks. Helmets with no visors just look plain ugly. Sure if I want to get all technical, Helmets with no visors are unrealistic too. But let's not necessarily bring that word in a sci-fi game. Helmets are important because they are the iconic face of a character. Visors sure as hell help with the persona than a random-ass piece of metal on your face that makes your character look retarted.

Helmets WITH shiny visors are impractical. Practicality should have some presence in the game or all the characters would be walking around with Gun Blades.

Edited by ZER0: 2/18/2013 7:09:55 AMI didn't say anything about visors being shiny or practical. If we're talking about practicality then what they have in the images above is surely not very practical. You don't need to add shininess to a helmet and its visor. It simply needs to look unique, cool and iconic. The 3-5 shown in the concept having nothing of that nature.

Could you show me pictures of helmets from other IPs that they're derivative of?

http://screenshots.filesnetwork.com/32/files2/67939_1.jpg Here you go. Looks a lot like like the Warlock doesn't he? http://oyster.ignimgs.com/mediawiki/apis.ign.com/halo-4/thumb/2/2b/Pioneer.png/468px-Pioneer.png I'm not here to yank anyone's chain or BS around or even spread some idiotic hatred. Take the criticism as it is. Also done talking to you.

I don't see why you feel the need to end a perfectly productive conversation, but okay. Also, I didn't realize oblong-shaped heads are illegal. I'll go write a PM to DeeJ and tell him to pick some three-dimensional shape other than elliptical-prisms, spheres, and cubes just to be safe. Maybe a pyramid? Yeah, that'll look super cool. What about a rhomboidal-prism? Oooo. Fancy.
