-Framerate was ridiculous at times (no it's not my computer)
-No gameplay details whatsoever except smartphone integration (which may mean that the game requires an internet connection)
-4 minutes and 30 seconds long (then again, 4+3=7)
-Story details were just restatements, nothing about thematic direction or important ideas
*flamesuit*
-Music seems generic (I swear some cues were taken directly from "To Galaxy" from Halo 4, and IMO, that sounded a hell of a lot better in 343's first vidoc. Then again, that theme didn't even appear ONCE in game so...)
Also, I'm not hating, just expressing disappointment. I'm sure the game will still be great.

1 ReplyEverything Bungie dislikes about you. -You don't make video games -You don't orchestrate your own music -You talk trash about a ViDoc in which they made to formally announce to their fans. Ask yourselves one questions: Does Bungie make bad games?
-
1 Reply1st the game isn't finished with no specifications announced yet so of course frame rate will fall and rise. 2nd Feeling we should get gameplay in the a reveal trailer just shows you feel entitled to everything you want. How about you shut up and wait like the rest of us who are just happy to see the game. 3rd how is that a problem? 4th. The Story is just restatements because we got the story from leaked legal documents which we should have never seen. And since the guy at the end had his clip in a video 3 years ago it's likely most of it was created 3 years ago with parts of the game thrown in later. So they won't change it just because some info they didn't want was released.

3 RepliesWas the in-game footage from the almost final or a beta stage within development? During gameplay I saw no alpha or beta signs.
-
What did you expect?
-
1 ReplyThe vidoc didn't show much gameplay. It doesn't look good. I just can't trust games from trailers no more since Halo 4 released.
-
-This is not the final build -It's a reveal trailer, you're lucky you got in-game -It's a reveal trailer -None of the story details were official until now -Music is likely just for the ViDoc
-Framerate was ridiculous at times (no it's not my computer)
Yeah it probably was your computer because I had it going on on my Xbox and had no issue. I watched the first part of the IGN stuff on my PC and had no issues with that either. I don't really know what you where expecting today but for an announcement of a brand new game 4 minutes and 30 seconds is a lot compared to most reveal trailers we get now that might have some sound a black screen and the logo.

4 RepliesHow much can it possibly take to satisfy the people here?
-
1 Replyvideo was 4 minutes and 30 seconds long therefore the game must suck makes sense
-
3 RepliesWhat video were you watching?
-No gameplay details whatsoever except smartphone integration (which may mean that the game requires an internet connection)
The game is confirmed to only work online.
-Framerate was ridiculous at times (no it's not my computer)
I did not see any Frame rate issues.

2 RepliesWatching the IGN live stream, they said it WILL require internet. And the music was beautiful, imo.
-
Would you rather no have a reveal at all, then?
-
1 ReplyIt's not even pre-alpha ofc framerate is bad.
-
2 RepliesMy framerate was perfectly fine... But you seem to be judging this game a lot to quickly in my opinion. It was the first ViDoc. It's meant to start even more hype and speculation.

5 RepliesBeen a while since I've been on B.net. I forgot how quickly the hate comes, here. It's a first reveal, and not even at a major gaming event. What exactly did you expect beyond a brief "hello" (sotospeak). As for the Framerate, I think that has to do with IGN, not the video.
-
Edited by annoyinginge: 2/17/2013 6:28:44 PM"-Framerate was ridiculous at times (no it's not my computer)" Well then, it must be your Internet connection, because my framerate was silky smooth.

I thought it was awesome

DON'T DISS MARTY'S MUSIC

1 ReplyPeople are already complaining? Wow, just wow.

Hmmm, there was a few good bits of information in there. In particular, that matchmaking page should provide plenty of information for speculation. We'll definitely know it all eventually, and my hunger is satiated for now.
