The upload date being that doesn't prove anything. You might be right, but I think denying that Joyeuse has any significance would be a big mistake. On an unrelated note, does anyone know where this text comes from? I saw it posted but I've no idea where it's from. http://pastebin.com/q81at84M

I'm saying that anyone could have read Cortana's thread and made a youtube account a year and a half ago to upload that one cryptic video. Ask yourself: 1) What does Bungie have to gain from uploading a single cryptic video a year and a half before they even begin to seriously reveal their IP? 2) Why does the video lean so heavily on the Joyeuse theme like a crutch? 3) Why is the Joyeuse theme absent from anything else we've seen up to this point? It's definitely fake.

You don't know for sure. Do you have to be a close-minded naysayer about this? It "leans" on Joyeuse because that follows the pattern. Did you even look at the image I posted? Durandal, Cortana, Joyeuse. And the destiny symbol lines up perfectly with Joyeuse's hanging torso. It hasn't been absent up to this point. Destiny is Bungie's 7th IP, and each of their last 3 IPs have leaned heavily on an AI character named after a sword, as you would say, "like a crutch". And the upload date doesn't prove shit. Guess what? Bungie hinted at Destiny in 2009, in ODST. The video was uploaded in 2011, 2 years later. Destiny has been being hinted at since 2009. It's like you don't know how Bungie does ARGs.

I've seen the image you posted many times before, it's from Cortana's thread. Guess who else saw it? A couple hundred people. Any one of them could have created the youtube account years ago to upload their own attempt at a Destiny ARG, knowing that people like you would see it, believe it out of faith, and be tricked by it. But know this: This Joyeuse thing has NO relevance to the ARG currently in progress. The ODST reference was in a Bungie game. We were linked to the ARG website by an Adminstrator account on Bungie.net. The Geomancy symbols were introduced by DeeJ. This is just a random youtube video that you found on the internet with nothing official pointing towards it. One of these things are not like the other.
