It kinda is terrible when the most logical solution would have been to eliminate age restrictions on Medicare and throw Medicaid into the trash bin. But the political reality was never going to allow for that. Obamacare has not been tried before to correct the health market failure in the US. It is not the Canadian system nor is it the British system.
