Why? employers everywhere are cutting hours so that they need not pay for employees healthcare, if you do get the opportunity to decline you end up having to pay fines for not having health care by the end of the year. I understand healthcare is important but millions of people may rely on lower paying jobs to sustain themselves, if you're barely able to make it on $10 an hour at 40 hours a week now, I highly doubt you'll be able to do it at 25 to 30.

So don't provide healthcare to workers who need it because corporations will punish the workers, and end up just preserving the untenable status quo. It's a classic rock versus a hard place and I get the feeling that if corporations are going to be dickish enough to punish their workers more, then we need to return the favor.
