The above song from Mass Effect 1 only plays twice and only for a few seconds:
1. When Ashley sees a man get impaled on a Husk spike.
2. In the five second cutscene on Feros that shows a Geth Destroyer walking down a hall.
What rare and/or unused music in a video game is your favorite?

A lot of the small stuff used in IL2-Sturmovik: Birds of Prey, although there is some good short songs in Skyrim that I would extended. Although, anyone familiar with Jack Arel? They used some of his stuff in the Vietnam expansion for Bad Company 2, I'd like to get that extended than what I've found on youtube. Two minutes is too short.

The Prologue theme from Symphony of the Night. It only plays in one room, and Dance of Illusions takes over for the boss fight, meaning you're likely to hear only about 10 - 20 seconds of it. Yet it's one of the best songs on the soundtrack.

I can't remember what it was called, or what game it was from (Portal 2?) but there is this one fantastic piece that is only ever played once. Once! And after that you're likely to never hear it again in the game.
