- Boundless ( camping in it with the skull );
- Camping in it with shotguns...
At least with AL you couldn't move.
Do you agree?

I just wish they'd bring back the dropshield. That was useful. It protected your team, and healed them. The new thing in Halo 4 sucks as it offers no cover, which was part of the usefulness of the dropshield. But no, you're wrong. If I had a problem with a Bubble Shield, I simply chucked a grenade in it and blew it up. But armor lock? I've taken out entire teams using it in CQC combat. OP as hell.

No shut up colonel

ur annoying

Edited by ZealotSG: 1/29/2013 8:11:45 AMBubble shields lured people inside. Armor Lock lures people. I don't see the difference. Except the Bubble Shield had infinitely more uses. Armor Lock might have been useful for getting out of maps but Drop Shield does the same thing, and does it better.
-
But the thing about the bubble shield is that you didn't have it on you every single time you spawned. It was a one time use. And it didn't give you invincibility.
-
4 RepliesConsider this.
-
2 RepliesYou can't blow up a vehicle with a Bubble shield...
-
6 RepliesShotguns and bubble shields were fun. Swords, also. Especially ninja'ing people. But there were counters. Armor Lock gives you complete and utter invinicbility, no exceptions.
-
You actually had to get the bubble shield and once you used it it was gone.
-
lolnope You couldn't get rid of the plasma grenade stuck on you if you used a bubble shield.
-
No, I don't agree.
-
Disagree. Bubble shields were annoying but they could only be used once, which I think is why equipment was better than AAs. Having said that I still have memories of chains of multiple Bubble Shields on Rats Nest, which was pretty ridiculous.
-
Oh Bubble Shield, how I miss thee. WHAT IF there were armor abilities and equipment in the same game? Just kidding. I'd rather have equipment, sprint, and powerups.
-
4 Repliesnope. The best trick ever is to chuck a nade in a bubble shield and watch them die. Or jump over the enemy in a bubble and back smack them.
-
Bubbleshields offer some counterplay, Armor Lock does not. Seems pretty clear cut to me, Armor Lock is worse.
-
1 ReplyLolno. Armor lock is 10x worse than bubble shield. Reasons why 1. You spawn with it 2. Can be used through out the whole game 3. Completely invincible 4. EMP 5. Can destroy vehicles Do I really need to list more reasons why it's terrible?
-
Agree and disagree. I found neither annoying but I'd say bubble sheild was 'worse'. Whenever I saw someone use armor lock, all they did was delay their death. I'd stay a safe distance away and toss some grenades that would explode as soon as armor lock ran out, killing them instantly.
-
2 RepliesNope. You couldn't spam it like you could with Armor Lock.
-
Edited by Spawn: 1/28/2013 8:01:25 PMDisagree. Armor Lock there isn't a counter. You're forced to literally wait for the person to come out. Bubble Shields could still have action. You can still run through them with vehicles, throw grenades inside them to cancel them out, and you couldn't use them infinitely. You had a limited supply unlike armor abilities. Not to mention that armor lock has the EMP ability for up-close melee and vehicle stopping. Bubble Shield had none of that. Not everyone could have bubble shields. Everyone could have armor lock.
