HDTV Splitscreen problem! 4:3 Aspect ratio??!?!?!
As some of you know, I recieved my Halo 3 copy today from the Pontiac contest. I have been playing campaign fine by myself for about an hour. My brother just got here and we went in to do some splitscreen co-op campaign, and bam... Theres black bars on the left and right side of the screen! I tried going through every setting, reading the manual, checked my Xbox360 settings but it wont change! Any suggestions (or anyone else with their copy confirm this issue?)

Unless you have an obnoxiously small television, it shouldn't be THAT much of a problem! I played it with my friend last night (split screen co op), and I did notice that the bars were there. I didn't mind that much, and after about thirty seconds I totally forgot they were there, and never took notice of them again. Why? Because the game looks so good the way Bungie has set it up. However, I know that there are people out there that just simply *cannot* have this. If thats the case, then just don't use split screen! Sorry, but thats the way it is.
