Posted by: Dante Hicks
Posted by: Grunt Lover 69 Thank you for making everything more clear to me Dante.
Sure. Bioshock *is* a good game by every meaning, but it is overrated. I really think that some of the reviewers are getting "Hawthorne Effect'd" into reviewing it as high as they are. Same will happen with Halo 3 eventually. My biggest problem with Bioshock is that it isn't remotely challenging. I credit that to the fact that the first plasmid you get is IMO the best. Electro-shock is way way way too effective. If you've played the demo, you know what I'm talking about, but I'll give you specific examples. Electro-Bolt is too effective because of being paired with water. The stunning is one thing, which makes it really easy to get headshots, but when all you have to do is electrocute most enemies/bosses, the game is too simplistic. This has a very negative impact on combat. The only challenge in the game is not using Electro-Bolt.
Exactly...The stun on electro bolt lasted WAY too long, and the incenerate plasmid was a joke. Plus, you're in a dark room, light a fire, and there's hardly any light coming from it...wtf?
