I haven't had much of a chance to play online yet since I have been busy with work and moving into a new apartment, but I played my first few Infection games last night and loved them. Thanks Bungie! Happy Halloween! :-)

i was just playing this playlist yesterday, i hope it does comeback, not just for holloween though, but for a ranked infection gametype all the time.... but also if u bring back swat, i dont know wat ill do, i really just want swat lol... but i do understand it was kind of just an occasion thing so thanks so much bungie for the great holloween [Edited on 11.01.2007 4:13 AM PDT]

Good job. Complain when they try to please you guys. It's pretty apparent why they did just about everything they've done in this playlist. The setup is almost blatantly so you can get the achievements you whine about and try to arrange in the pregame. In fact, that's pretty much the only problem I had, besides the party issue. Since the living dead playlist was to help the undeserving get achievements, it had to be ranked. Hence, you get the spartan laser to use on hordes of zombies. Since it had to be ranked, they had to balance the humans and zombies. That's why zombies have shields and active camo. But to even the odds, when they are cloaked they have hammers. Why? Because you can see them anyway! The same kind of people complaining now were the ones crying about achievements, and that is why the gametypes weren't exactly what you wanted. The only thing that ruined the Playlist of the Living Dead were the people in it.

Thanks Bungie!! That was alot of fun. only thing that sucks was that I had school all day, then 2 hours of drivers ed, then trick-or-treating, leaving me with only a couple hours to play...O well Completely love Infection, wish it could be a part of other matchtypes, maybe BTB? Or its own would work too ...didnt like creeping dead so much...

the only gametype I hated was that creeping crap other than that it was awesome and cover up that stair case on the pit. so what are you guys doing for thanksgiving?? And what about the new maps??

Ok it was fun because it was different. I couldn't play with my friends since I was a higher rank than them. The only fun games of infection I've play is when the zombies have no shields. When did zombies become invisible and carry power sticks? I'd like for bungie to keep the playlist, but fix the game play just a little. The forged maps were decent. Thanks!

thank God that's over, i'm all out of mountain dew and pizza, my eyes are bloodshot, i have huge dark circles under my eyes, i pretty muh look like a friggin zombie, i haven't showered, slept and have barely eaten since this thing came out now bungie first off thanks for the special hopper great idea and i love zombies, been playing it sine way back in the halo 2 days the maps were decent and pretty fun the game types were close to being all around horrible i need old school zombies zombies are invisible (optional), fast (optional), swords and NO shields (NOT optional) humans starts with magnum and maps have random weapons but NO power weapons and the maps have NOOOOOOOOOOOO power ups! i am really gratefull did have fun and made it to level 10 and love all the cool new armor variants i have won ;-) i look forward to more infection MM and more special hoppers. keep it coming and i can't wait to see the new maps thanks again [Edited on 11.01.2007 3:29 AM PDT]

I played it for fun and for achievements...to begin with..... then just for achievements because zombies with shields sucks and the invisible gametypes were terrible... keep trying bungie I know you've got some better ideas than that for the future..im sure of it...

this needs to be a permanent playlist! (not the creeping stuff though). And I think it wouldn't let parties find a game IF the party members were a different rank (I'm at 6, but my friend was at 1, and nothing would happen).

So 3, 4 hours left? And still no update on the party problem.... lame. Couldn't do Halloween clubbing because my buddies & I have early classes, so I mentioned the Halo 3 Halloween thing and they come over. Boy did I look like a fool as we sat there staring at the "zero matches found" screen. Thanks a lot Bungie! Life goes on, but still...so -blam!- lame!

I love this playlist, especially in comparison to some of the items available now in Big Team. Such as VIP or Territories (on some maps at least), no hard feelings bungie but people veto those two whenever they pop up. It's the same for some in other game types, like oddball in lonewolf or ninjanaught in Rumble Pit. Some things just feel out of place for the game type. But infections right at home in a Big Team playlist (i do realize that big team involves actual "teams") and my vote is cast that it be kept, where its placed is up to you, whether you derive some new form of Big Rumble Pit or what not. But I'd like to see this put into action permanently. I do agree that the playlist needs tweeking (ie chainreaction01's post), but these are balance issues that are easily resolved im sure. Epitaph we could do without i think, I would like to see something more along the lines of the Highground map with swords vs Shoty/SL. Now that was fun. uhhh, i hate to rain on bungie's parade, but the gametypes suck ass. The maps are decent, most of them.... but the weapon spawns and active camo for zombies and the implementation of shields are stupid. Sorry, Bungie. Not impressed.

Could not get a group into the playlist. Dont know if other people had this problem but none of my friends and I could join the playlist as a group (3 people). It would just hang there. We all could join individually, no problem. Not sure what it was. Real bummer because it is a fun playlist.

Worst Infection ever. Since when are Zomies invisible and have hammers? They should have no sheilds and humans shotguns and pistols with no radar.

Does anybody have all of the medals yet? What are all the special medals you can get only in Infection? Here are the ones I know of: 5 kills as human - Zombie Killing Spree 10 kills - Hell's Janitor 15 kills - ? Or is it 5 kills as Zombie? Something latin... Last man standing
