Story on Digg.com that may have a connection to the ARG [Links inside]...

Notice: I realize that there is some negativity that tends to crop up around threads like this one. I'm not trying to jump to conclusions, but realize that I've been seeing these images floating around the Internet for the last few weeks more commonly than I probably should, and I've become curious. I hope that if we contain our input and questions to this thread, we can have some fun with this without being interrupted or shot down so quickly. This viral campaign is a very asymmetrical one, and I wouldn't count anything out so hastily. Thanks. - - - - - - - Update [6/27/07]: Another story has made it to the Digg.com homepage linking to a webpage with some new images. You can visit the page here. Here are some images I grabbed. There are more on the webpage: This image looks like it almost depicts halos, doesn't it? This one shows some strange spined object, whatever it is. This is just one of many documents showing strange illustrations on them. - - - - - - - Update [6/13/07]: I don't know if this has already been stated, but after looking at the pixellated image from 27.com, it just hit me that I remember seeing this about a week or so ago. It was from a story that I saw and commented on that was on the Digg.com homepage! Here's the link to the page with the image. Scroll down a ways, and you'll see it on the wing of the aircraft: http://www.ufocasebook.com/unmannedprobeanalysis.html Here's a direct link to the image: http://www.ufocasebook.com/2007/pa5.jpg For those who are just seeing this, the image in question can be viewed by visiting the 27.com homepage, then right-clicking the page > View Background Image. •
Posted by: Sai kun
Posted by: LethalJase It looked like Japanese at first glance to me, but I'm pretty sure it's not now.
Yeah I have to be honest, it sure looks like Japanese [albeit upside-down] at first glace, but now that I look at it in detail, not so much. I can clearly see what looks like "su", "pa/ba", "ki/gi", and "pu/bu". Or at least what seems to look like it. It'd be interesting if it said "adjutant" in katakana or something, but it's not Japanese. Meh. Oh well D:
Thanks for your offering to help, at any rate.
