Graphics of Halo 3 ={
I was reading a article of an interview off of game informer for halo 3 and one of the guys from bungie said that the graphics are actually really good if you compare it the pictures of halo 3 and halo 2 side by side. He also said that he is very happy where the graphics are and it is not a halo 2.5. Now to the point, i am sorry but this is next gen you shouldnt have to compare pictures of halo 3 and halo 2 side by side to tell the difference. You should be able to notice it right away and be amazed and be able to tell that this is next gen(especially for one of the best games of all time). This honestly looked like they could of made these graphics on the original xbox. I am a really big fan of halo and this just ticks me off because this is going to be the very last halo game and the graphics BLOW! I mean if you are going to end it, end it and make it one of the greatest games ever in every subject of the game, not just gameplay, you have to make the graphics amazing too. THIS IS NEXT GENERATION FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!! Isn't Halo 3 suppose to be the best game for xbox 360? How is it when the graphics aren't even going to compare to Gears of War. I could understand if they couldn't get the graphics to be just as good but the graphics don't even come close to Gears of War. It is just dissapointing that the graphics are only going to be a little bit better than halo 2s. I know what everyone is going to say, the graphics are going to be improved and that it is only a beta but the way they are saying things, it doesn't sound like they are going to change the graphics that much. I am sorry but i just had to get that out of my system. I just want to see if anyone agree's with me on this because i want to know if i am imagining that these graphics look very very alike to halo 2's.

Assassins Creed is a single player game. You're comparing Multiplayer pics to Single Player pics. That's just plain dumb. It is extremely common for MP to look worse than SP and we know for a fact this is the case with Halo 3. Bungie has already stated that Halo 3 MP looks worse than the SP. I notice that the GRAW2 pictures posted earlier in this thread were also from the SP portion and not from the substantially worse looking MP. How convenient :-| Some of you need to chill. The fact is, even now, the Halo 3 beta looks better than any MP game currently out on 360 sans Gears. Whoopdy friggin doo, 1 MP game looks better so far. If the SP ends up looking much worse than other SP games, okay go ahead and complain. But until we see something recent from Halo 3's SP lets stop the comparison to other SP portions of games. K?[/quote] So somehow Halo 3 SP magically got better then MP, when Halo 2 SP was the same? Give me a break. You also have to generate AI in SP, and large areas. So graphics don't "magically" get better. Lost planet had a 32 person MP. 0_o. Its probably better graphically then halo 2, with a 16, but ussually 8 person MP. Stop saying "large player numbers".
