So then i hear about the elite 360 and really want it but it will cost nearly as much as the normal 360 and i have registration to worry about (got my learners ) so i really feel betrayed by Microsoft for making game consoles now to much like computers and needing all these updates which cost money of which i work my ass off for and yet seem to get not much back . So when i hear that halo3 will only play the higher standee on the "elite" 360 it means that i have to yet work my butt of again for maybe which once i finish will there be another update or new console after 12 months. It is more the so harder with these workers agreement contracts in Australia which make it so some like me can by law only get 8 dollars an hour until I'm 18 then until I'm 21 i cant earn more then 11 dollars an hour so i work really hard for stuff that ends up getting outdated real quick such as the 360. I'm just wondering why bungie should even be considering making halo3 better on the elite 360 which i think in Australia isn't even out now when in truth this upgrade is a betrayal to us who got the normal 360 first up and were told it was next gen which is what the elite360 is now. Any how this halo3 update is still cool and good job bungie on doing the new halo2 maps even though there were some flaws. If you dont like what i wrote then don't reply. We were simply describing the setup we use in our test lab. You don't need an Elite for 1080p, just cables and a compatible TV. There are some 1080p capable TVs that won't accept 1080p over component, however. " (posted in the weekly update) this was posted by bungie so even with out the elite u will be able to play Halo 3 just the same on the 360 as 360 elite about the freezing - any game system can freeze exspecailly a system that uses disks and oblivion has sooo much in it its hard for the xbox to handle, my brother almost overheated our xbox 360 while playing the game for too long about the 360 being to much like a computer - if the xbox 360 wasnt like a computer it wouldnt have the power to play any new type of game also i have a question is there a set date when the playlist update and ranking reset will happen [Edited on 04.30.2007 2:18 PM PDT]
