So if you have a 1080p TV, enjoy it yourself in a few weeks. Most people, and I mean the VAST majority of people don’t have a 1080p TV, so it would be foolish to sacrifice even a single feature for a bullet point number on the back of a box." Alright, I don't get this...I have a 1080p TV with an HDMI port but I DO NOT have an X360 Elite, thus meaning I don't have an HDMI port on my X360....so does this mean I'm getting screwed out of top-notch graphics? Do I need to purchase a X360 Elite in order to get the proper AND best HD quality out of Halo 3? If someone could help me with this it would be much appreciated.[/quote] You do know the difference between 1080i and 1080p is unnoticeable to the human eye. I think you will be fine. One other thing 1080p sets usually run at about 1000$ more than a 1080i set. And if you or your family can afford that, and your super worried about missing out on the upscaled 1080p, $479.99 doesn't seam like too much of a stretch. [Edited on 04.30.2007 8:20 AM PDT]
