  • "[quote]Posted by: Jrwill181 problem with Right Bumper being reload, board and action button is what if you want to reload when your next to a gate switch or would if you want to reload when your next to a vehicle and not jump in the seat. would if i wanted to reload instead of using the turret. their could potentially be huge problems with that and i am not willing to risk it so please make sure the normal button layout is there and make the "X button" used by the "D-Pad" Wow, first off, do you own Halo 2? Because everybody that is complaining about the Right Bumper should go back to Halo 2 and see that it is the exact same thing as the X button. I have never had a problem with accidently reloading instead of opening a gate because you have to look at the object you want to activate, so unless you are looking right at it, you wont activate it. And as for vehicles, it is almost the same thing. So unless you have had this problem so many times on Halo 2 that you just cant stand it any more and want it changed (which would probably just make you start complaining about what other function is on the Right Bumper anyway) then you should stop complaining. Bungie has played Halo 3 and they think that the layout works perfectly, and im pretty sure i cant say the same thing about you. * 04.29.2007 2:23 PM PDT" just adding this, but dont you have to hold X-button in halo 2 to board a vehicle or pick up a weapon or anything, and just tap X to reload. I'm just taking a guess, but im pretty sure the reload button being on the bumper is to make it faster when playing. Plus you can reload seperate weapons when dual wielding. Sounds like bungie is on to something if you ask me, and as for the talk button being on D-pad, I'm sure you'll be able to customize the button layout. They have given that option in both halo 1 and 2, and they have mentioned that halo 3 will be even more customizable. I'm not too worried, i tihnk they know their game better than us, due to the fact that we havent even played it.
