They're black, but they aren't elites. Looks like the game is coming along great. love how the barracks and bridge level appear to be geometry-wise. Too bad the beta won't have those sort of maps (although I am a little more impressed by what I've seen of Snowbound's inside geometry). The bubble shield also just looks awesome. Great way to block off a hallway so you can get by safely. As for the part about "player movement"... well, I'm not impressed.
