well it looks like bungie knows their guns. the battle rifle(original in #1) looks like its gas operated. Just like the ak47 and m16 the smg sort of resembles the [url=http://www.d3lf.net/p90/images/p90tac2.jpg]p90[/url]/[url=http://www.mfiap.com/airsoft/acce/mp5-main-acce.jpg]mp5 [/url] the pistol basically resembles the [url=http://www.great-lakes.org/graphics-2/Beretta/Beretta--90-TWOsv.jpg]beretta pistol[/url] (that beretta is a beautiful GUN) even some of the covenant weapons resemble some rifles. like the carbine. it resembles the [url=http://www.miltecharms.com/homeguns.jpg] M1 garand[/url] because of the ejection of the clip. *ching*. their quite different though. But the grand daddy of all guns has to be the [url=http://www.icefire-enterprises.com/AK47.JPG]AK-47[/url]. their so damn reliable and yet so simple. The parts are stamped out so basically anyone can copy the design. As long as that damn thing has ammo it will not stop firing. They are really cheap to. You can get one from Russia for like 50$. the m16 has greater accuracy than the ak-47 but sadly has more moving parts. Halo weapons and real weapons are very similar. Except halo weapons probably wouldn't fire in the real world. But in the virtual world they will. All you have to do is write a firing script.
