is speaking spanish bad??
I would like to know why so many people throw a hizzy fit when they hear anyone speaking anything other than English on a room before the game starts, given though, this only happens on social games, when the games are ranked you can't hear the other team until the end of the game, but regardless, i find it childish for gamers to go buck wild, insult you automatically think you're Mexican when you enter a room speaking in Spanish (nothing wrong with Mexicans) its just that i'm from another country not remotely related to it, i find it hard to believe that at this day and age we still have people ( young kids at that) that are throwing racial comments out in the air, barely even knowing what some of the terms mean.
At the end of the day what matters is your performance in the game, not your country of birth and the language you speak, the games are scored based on how many people you killed and how many times you died, is funny how fast people are to talk trash, but its funnier how much faster it is for them to leave when they are loosing the game or have lost the game for that matter, stay and chat, let me know how embarrassed you are that after all the cr*p you said, you got your *ss handed to you in a game, not saying i'm a great player, i just enjoy the game, obviously i'm better than some people and some people are better than me, but that's just the way life goes.
This is not a request for all you trash talkers to apologize, i could care less about that, i'm one of the biggest trash talkers out there, and i talk trash regardless of winning or loosing, but i also give credit where credit is due, i dont throw a racial slur and leave the room just because i got beat by someone whose language i dont understand, i believe the gaming community should be over this by now, its a stupid issue and should be approached more maturely. i've been sent so mush negative feedback from guys that got whooped after talking trash, goes to show you the maturity.
to my other foreign language speakers out there, keep on handing out those *ss whoopings, because that's the only way you can retaliate the negative comments.

Santa mierd...I mean, holy shi*... I can't believe this. Why is it such an issue wether people speak one language or the other? Its just sad and racist. I see lots and lots of people in the U.S calling mexicans aliens in a derogatory manner, and calling them lazy and a parasites it bothers me greatly(porque soy mexicano/I'm mexican) its clearly that prejudiced people don't know squat when they open their trapholes. Yes, there are mexicans that are up to no good and are just parasites eating the system, yes, but there are also hardworkers out there trying to provide for their families. As I see it, its about those who have and those who don't. You think people cross the border because what? tell me? I'll tell you why: people cross the border because owr government is shi* and there are less and less jobs for people and less and less oportunities for people(in general, you don't have to be born poor or be uneducated). We have no infrastructure and no means for providing for a fast growing population, period. And the numbers of people going "north" are going to go up and up, and up, and up. And also the number of casualties. Because poor people who have been born in a situation where there are scarce means or none whatsoever to further educate themselves and litterally climb out of the gutter either accept their situation and freaking die, or live a life of misery, or they risk their life and cross the damn border looking for a better alternative. Period. People do ANYTHING to survive, anything. Can they be parasites? Hell yeah, they can be parasites over here too, you know. Its not because they are mexicans but rather because they are lazy a**holes. You, "up there" who happen to think we are parasites, then, why don't you stop paying for cheap illegal labor? Stop hiring them and paying them shi*, wich for them is actually quite good, 'cuz in Mexico the lowest wage per day is 40 pesos tops, wich is, pretty much 3.69692 U.S. dollars. Less than what a store clerk makes in ONE, ONE friggin' HOUR. It's just heaven for them to make that money. And, did you know that the highest external source of income for mexico is the money that those illegal aliens send back to their families, exceeded ONLY by oil production. So, basically, you are telling these people to just go and pick a place to die back home, wich is unreal. If anyone wants to get into a debate I'm all up for it, just open your mouths, PM me and let's see how it goes. I know this hardly has anything to do with halo3 but damn...

they mistook me as middle eastern a lot of the time. I look a bit different from the average Mestizo (mexican) person due to some Mayan ancestry that makes my eyes more slanted and my skin more darker. Couple that with a full beard, and I always got searched at the airports. :D

Having family and been through a lot of Mexico, I can say that mexico is actually a more extreme form of the US. There's TONS of wealth from natural resources, tourism, and industry, but its in the hands of a very small minority. You can go to any large city and see the entire gamut of standard of living. In some states the people live dirt poor or on small ranchitos (the country), while in the cities you'll see anything from slums to large mansions (from legal money, mind you). There are places where many people are affluent as they are in America (Nuevo Leon is a good example). We all work hard, but when you think of people who break their backs, the two stereotypes are mexicans and blacks. Given our history, it is at least partially true, moreson since we do the dirty jobs most don't like to do.
