I agree, because i never bought that theory about 'Boren’s Syndrome', but Is could not just refer to Spartan ones, it could just mean the first model of super soldier. But he is still the model before the Spartan IIs, before they where given the code name Spartans. But one query, really why did'nt Johnson die then?( to all the fans out there that say well we dont know if the Chief could die too, he never has, and the books never said that it could kill them, well ive got one thing to say......HAVE you plays the video games? they where before the books, so they are the ones you should be quoting more, and i dont know about the rest of you, but the flood infection forms have killed me in the game more than a few times) One possible answer to why Johnson didnt die is that he is one tough mother -blam!-er, and was able to fight his way out of the huddle before they killed him, its a simple answer, but a possible one. Oh and i found one piece of evidence in the BOOK (for all the fans i previously mentioned, just to do a point). In Halo: The Flood, on page 244-5 in the Library the chief fines the body of one [i]Staff Srg Marvin Mobuto[/i]. Mobuto was able to make it a great distance through the library when even the chief was having difficulty, could it be like Johnson there is something different about him ? possible? Oh and i know this is side tracking from the point,I love the games Halo, and Halo 2, i am a fanatic, but personally i dont like the books, They may be the [i]Official[/i] ones(with the exception of Halo:First strike, if you look, no where does it say official), but that doesnt mean that they are 100% right, they are still one persons personal views of halo universe(infact ive got a few pieces of evidence that they are wrong, and if you want me to list them for you, just message me or reply and ask, ill give you them). There is no need to take them too literally. Anyways, some of the questions will be answered in halo 3 hopefully, and the ones that are not, we all can just have our own ideas about.
