Look at all his games that he gets 1st place in. He joins up with a friend and has his other account quit out so he gets 1st place every time. How can this be allowed?
My last words on this subject

Frankly I don't really care. But the NBA season has not started yet has it? I think that it would be nice for some other Generals to challenge him. Gilbert Arenas: The Frank Dux of Halo 3 Make him yell "Matei!"

(sorry had too. Not really making fun of you. What happened to Enron is about as bad as boosting in halo. haha, no not really.)
No, Enron really was worse. Enron didn't quite pwn, but Ken Lay surely did with that timely heartattack of his. To put it in relevant terms, it'd be like if we got Arenas' GT banned or his stats wiped, and then he magically turned into Bill Gates, i.e. the all-powerful XBL god.
Posted by: KontrollerX What a piece of garbage he is. No role models at all to look up to these days for the younger generation. If the guy is going to cut corners at a videogame to rank up you guys are probably not too far off to say he does roids.
WOW. cheating in a video game does not equate to what someone would do in real life. STFU you n00b. You're the Jack Thompson type who thinks people who play violent video games go on killing sprees.

It's not him, its someone using his account. /end thread
Yeah, It looks like someone is using his account or maybe he is even making someone play FOR him. Lol. I think he cheats....but obviously he can't be playing Halo 3 AND playing a televised NBA game.
Sure he can, he's Hibachi!!!

I like in the US, and *I* barely follow our sports... Except American football. That's ok... Honestly, I don't even know who the guy is. I just hate cheaters.

This thread pwns on the Recon Armor thread. At least we're getting national media attention outta this. Free marketing for Bungie.

Found this on Wikipedia: "After a team practice, Arenas made a $20,000 bet with fellow Washington Wizard DeShawn Stevenson. Arenas claimed he could make more shots from the college basketball three point distance (approximately 19.75 feet) with one hand than Stevenson could make professional level three-pointers (approximately 23.75 feet) using two hands. Out of 100 attempts, Arenas completed 73 shots. While Stevenson was taking his shots, Arenas attempted to distract him during nearly every shot attempt, including trying to do a street basketball trick involving falling on the floor, throwing another basketball in the air in front of Stevenson's path, throwing an invisible football, and mimicking shooting motions off to Stevenson's side, and break-dancing on the floor, among other acts. Stevenson needed to make his final ten shots just to tie, but only made his first five shots before missing his sixth (meaning Stevenson completed 68 of 96 attempts), leading to Arenas winning the bet and extravagantly celebrating. Arenas added "I hope this don't mess you up for tomorrow" as a parting shot while Stevenson left the court"

This is the funniest -blam!- I have ever seen I just sent him a message on live lmao

Wow this dude has 280 games in social with only 981 kills besides the time I'd say thats a bit obvious seeing as I'm not the best player but in 81 games i have 1063 kills.

I respect that the boosing is not hurting anyone; that's true in and of itself, but it goes completely against the intention of the system. Why does that matter? Because it ruins the integrity of the system, in the same way that modding and cheating ruined the integrity of the Halo 2 leaderboard. Once that integrity is ruined, the ranks are meaningless because they're supposed to signify how much experience a player truly has. Some people have said that it doesn't matter because they're that good anyway. Why can't any of those people put in the time and effort to prove it, the same as most of the players do? What makes that group of players so special that they shouldn't put in the same amount of effort and time to achieve a higher rank? Again, it ruins the system for everyone because it literally becomes guess work to know who's an experienced player, and who's not. The potential difference in that experience can make for seriously unbalanced games, especially at higher levels. It defeats the purpose of matchmaking in the first place: to find the fairest, most enjoyable games as quickly as possible, and with enough variety to keep it interesting for everyone. The skill and experience differences created when players boost can ruin that for a lot of players. The quote below is on achievement chasing, a different subject, but I think it summarizes the sentiment fairly accurately.
Posted by: lukems All the achievement chasing has done is make me unimpressed when I see someone with the katana or the marathon helmet, since they didn't get it legitimately. So while they think they are cool with their katana and helmet, I'm just laughing at them, because they're a fake.
Haha ban him?? Hell, the cat's out of the bag on this forum, but not as far as he is concerned. Let's just find a way to "hold his account for ransom." Haha. Why not try to make a profit off of his cheating. (Not really serious, but sounds fun huh?)

Looks like my time with this is done. Thanks to everyone who made this thread possible. One of the best bnet experiences I've ever had. Now it's time to head home. See you on Halo 3 in just a few minutes. Peace.

Who is Gilbert Arenas?
