Look at all his games that he gets 1st place in. He joins up with a friend and has his other account quit out so he gets 1st place every time. How can this be allowed?
My last words on this subject

I think its funny that in the washington post article he saids he only did it "like 25 times." in his profile the first 10 pages of his game history are of him boosting! thats like 225 games! I guess he left the 200 out when they interviewed him. ha.

MC187 is my hero now, this is amazing

Don't know if this has been posted but his response is "Every body is doing it so its ok". From the mouth of Alan Iverson " It's a social game man, were talkin bout a social game". http://blog.washingtonpost.com/dcsportsbog/2007/10/is_gilbert_cheating_at_halo.html#more edit: saw this acouple of pages back but it was not a link. [Edited on 10.11.2007 1:03 PM PDT]

i new there was a connection between him and halo since i had seen somewhere of him endorsing a halo team i apologize if some1 has posted this up alredy but i was shocked when i saw the irony in the thread so i did some digging and found the interview for those of you who thing Agent Arenas isnt him heres the interview of him talkin about xbox live and such...http://sports.ign.com/articles/784/784487p1.html

If that DC blogspot guy is a reliable source than I stand corrected about maybe in not actually being Gilbert but rather one of his entourage.
-
wow this is sad

Its funny how inflated this whole ordeal is. This has turned to a flaming session, he boosted and is a level 45 so what. It may be abusing the system a bit but he is right about one thing it doesnt affect your rank and he ient ruining anyone elses online experience by boosting. All he is doing is settin himself up to play against other guys who legitimately are 45-50's. If he can hang with them cool, if not thats his fault for thinking raking actaully mean anything in life. If gil was on my friends list and I saw him boost from a 10-45 in one day I would laugh to myself challeng him to play against me and crush him to prove whow meaningless rankings are. Get off his back and go play halo 3 legit. [Edited on 10.11.2007 1:03 PM PDT]

Why did I have to get an answer to my question in another thread?
Posted by: ESSENCES of DOOM i hope u realize the social doubles is unranked right?
u sir, are a dumbass. u still get xp when in social games
Posted by: AblativeMeatshld
Posted by: Likwit How do we know that this is Gilbert Arenas?
Well, since I loath Basketball, all I know about the guy is that he plays basketball (before this thread, I had no idea who he was), sponsors a MLG team, and he's also a cheater. Is more information required? :)
No, absolutely not. Your logic is flawless, in my opinion. For once, I'm not being sarcastic.
Posted by: jdub03
Posted by: KontrollerX What a piece of garbage he is. No role models at all to look up to these days for the younger generation. If the guy is going to cut corners at a videogame to rank up you guys are probably not too far off to say he does roids.
WOW. cheating in a video game does not equate to what someone would do in real life. STFU you n00b. You're the Jack Thompson type who thinks people who play violent video games go on killing sprees.
prove it. Prove to me that someone can cheat all the time in a videogame but will not cheat at all in life. It is all about attitude my friend. An attitude of cheating has no bounds.

It is funny how this has already spread all over the internet. Places such as the Washington Post and Deadspin.com
-
That just made my day......
Posted by: Zero Asassin That's impossible. If you have two accounts running on one Xbox 360 and a guest file you cant join a friend and play social doubles because it will say that your party size is too big for this game type.
No, in social games you can have bigger numbers than the team size. Like, I've played BTB when it was 6v6 with 8 ppl in my party...6 of us on 1 team and 2 on the other. Four people on one xbox could play doubles, with two accounts, I believe.

OK...I don't have time to read through 17 pages of this thread to see if anyone else has found this. Sorry if so! http://blog.washingtonpost.com/dcsportsbog/2007/10/is_gilbert_cheating_at_halo.html#more [Edited on 10.11.2007 1:03 PM PDT]
Posted by: jdub03
Posted by: Navillus13 Uhh... Its the NBA preseason. Its amazing that he was playing Halo 3 all day on October 9th AND SIMULTANEOUSLY scoring 9 points against the Cleveland Cavaliers. It's not him, its someone using his account. /end thread
Yeah, It looks like someone is using his account or maybe he is even making someone play FOR him. Lol. I think he cheats....but obviously he can't be playing Halo 3 AND playing a televised NBA game.
he already said it was him. wutz with you people who cant read?
-
Maybe he plays halo 3 in pregame warmup and at halftime.
-
Who cares if he uses a loophole in the system to increase his EXP? It's not that big of a deal and if you think it is you need to get a life. Gilbert Arenas actually does a lot for the gaming community such as sponsoring players and what not. Not to mention, who knows if it was actually him. As do most celebrities and athletes, I'm guessing Gilbert has an entourage and I'm sure he allows them to play on his xbox live accounts. PS - Gilbert Arenas is cooler than everyone on this board
-
So let me get this straight.. He can figure out how to cheat in game, but cant figure out how to post here.. *insert ALOT of laugh* Dude failed because he got caught, He probably wont join to this thread because: A.it would be embarassing B.He got exposed C.He would get extreme flames on D.people would call him out E.he would either avoid the call outs with excuse OR he would get owned and there would be video of people tbaggin a cheater
-
really who cares?? when i see him in MM im going to reem his NBA ass.
-
Frankly I don't really care. But the NBA season has not started yet has it? I think that it would be nice for some other Generals to challenge him. Gilbert Arenas: The Frank Dux of Halo 3 Make him yell "Matei!"
