NBA player Gilbert Arenas cheating at Halo 3

Look at all his games that he gets 1st place in. He joins up with a friend and has his other account quit out so he gets 1st place every time. How can this be allowed?

So, now that we have an official release from bungie, what else can we talk about? How this seriously might have been the single best forum thread in the history of the internet (before that moron jumped in)? How creepy this can seem? How many people are going to change thier XBL motto to something snide involving this (I probobly will)? How much I KNOW i don't ever want to be a journalist? Seriously though, the issue is boosting or not boosting which has been talked about a whole bunch, everything else is laid out in plain (sometimes) english. I don't think we as a community have made much progress though. I wonder what Bungie's official stance on this practice is. Cheating? Maybe. I'm still thinking it through. Annoying? Very much so, but for me in my gaming expereince so far, only in games in matchmaking when people all want to do it and I just want to get busy. Hmm... Alright, so boosting undermines a tracking system (xp) developed by bungie for Halo 3 of which the basic end result is fun, entertainment. A whole bunch of people, now including Gilbert Arenas ( I am laughing so hard right now...) engage in said practice, which invalidates a system designed by bungie to keep the game competetive and, as I mentioned, fun, for all players of all skill levels by matching them with people of like skill. Inflating ones skill ( I assume, as I have never had the desire to do it) through boosting, in this particular way, only effects the little picture thingy next to your name, besides the kind of games you get into. Maybe if we got rid of that boosting would end? LMAO

either way Cheating to gain EXP is just as wrong. Why does that make him look better? My skill level and EXP aren't the highest, but I am better than my rank says. Simply because I have not put the time into it to get it higher. I was a lieutenant in the Beta because I didn't play it 24/7. but the point is, skill is skill EXP is EXP. Boosting it by cheating is pathetic since it won't make you look any better.In fact, as this situation shows, it makes you look worse.
