NBA player Gilbert Arenas cheating at Halo 3

Look at all his games that he gets 1st place in. He joins up with a friend and has his other account quit out so he gets 1st place every time. How can this be allowed?

Perma ban being overly agressive and unneccessary. They just need to take away his boosted XP. Reading helps. As for everyone else who is boosting XP, if Bungie can find a way to track them, then do the same. Arenas got caught, and he needs to be punished accordingly. I'm not one to determine the penalty of it, but it needs to happen to show that Bungie actually abides by the rules and enforces them.

Cheating should get you Banned, I don't care who you are. I am not advocating making the example out of Gil. Bungie can find someone else that has also done this, ban them first and then ban Gil. He will have to go into his other game room to play from now on.

That could only be possible for Chuck Norris who could cause anyone on the opposing team to lose all bowel control spontaneously by will alone. Bungie doesn't have to make an example of him by being overly agressive (perma ban), just do the right thing, and adjust his XP to take away all the boosted XP. For Bungie not to act on this issue, practically screams that they don't care about rules or standards, and cant care less on the state of the ranking system. Not acting on this type of behavior just encourages it further....

We're using Arenas as an example because there's a massive thread about it, he's a person in the eye of gaming media, and Bungie is obviously aware of it... perfect situation to discuss cheating and how it should be handled. EXP. ranks are just that, "EXPERIENCE RANKS." When I go into a game with Arenas or any other booster and see their EXP. rank, it's meant to give me an idea of their EXPERIENCE with Halo. It's effecting the other players if you really think about it.
