Identical title was intentional, as it's about the same thing.
I've recorded a lot of covers, but never got outside opinions apart from my friends, who I don't really trust to give good feedback. So, here I am!
Book of Love by Peter Gabriel. People say it's one of my best. Your opinion?
Scrubs theme. No, not all of the songs I cover were featured in Scrubs.
This is one that I wrote myself. Never tried to write a song before, and I think this went ok. Thoughts?
And as a bonus, I want to put the link to the cover of "Road Goes Ever On" from LotR here. Enjoy it, if you can. :D
As with edableshoe's thread, what I am here for is tips, guidance, etc. If I'm not a good singer, tell me. If there's things I can improve on, for the love of god, TELL ME. Constant fake praise isn't fun.
Anyway, thanks in advance. Sorry for the semi-long post.
Posted by: JamieSparkes
Posted by: oaklandp8ntbalr What brand guitar are you playing in the first one?
Uh...I honestly can't remember. It's behind me right now with 2 strings on it, but it's dark. It cost £20, so it's nothing special. Very good deal for £20 though. A buy-it-now on Ebay. :D If you listen to the Road Goes Ever On one, that's my Epiphone EJ200 limited edition guitar. Might not sound nicer recorded, but it sure does in real life. That cost me about £115.
If you ever want to get a new Acoustic, get a Seagull. It's a canadian brand. They have an amazing sound quality and are well-priced. Comparable, if not better, to many top-of-the-line brands out there. [Edited on 07.15.2012 6:02 PM PDT]
