Rumor Control
We don't normally address rumors one way or the other, but this one was so ill-conceived and mean spirited that we felt it necessary to cut it off at the pass. Halo 2 clan content will be a normal aspect of the Xbox Live service, and will incur no extra costs for the user. Sigh.

Heh, very nice. I must say i agree with alomst everyone. if it doesnt come from bungie, than i dont believe it, although it does make for very, er, INTERSTING dicussions with my friends. I did not hear of the rumor, except on Bungie, and i think that there was some spite and malicious intent in there, as it doesnt matter what u intended to do or happen, someone believed it and so Bungie had to clarify. And i must say, i can relate to bashing the Ps2 (that system with diallusioned fans =P) as i have a friend that has one, and he had to buy an Xbox cause no one else would play with him cause we had Halo. He still thinks it better. and he thinks Kill Zone, "Will be way better than Halo 2". Blasphemer. thats my two cents

I laugh at all who have not played Halo and I laugh at all who do not want to and I laugh a hundred times over for all those fools who believe their consoles are better than Xbox and say Halo isn't worth playing, especially when the great Halo 2 is coming. HAHAAAHAHHA! HA! HAHHAHAAAH! hah! ha! heh! I feel much better now!

Thats stupid, people like that should never have a chance to play this game. Its basically common knowledge though, when have u ever seen an Xbox game charge more for a clan server?

Some of the articles I post may rip some companies or people, Acclaim and Peter Molyneux recently, but we are doing our darndest to promote Xbox and Xbox Live :) On another note, AEG is a WONDERFUL company. One of the reps over there who contacted me has been beyond helpful and nice and compliant. So, mad-ill-dopetastic props to AEG. My prior correspondance with them, back in Jan or so, was also very nice. So, if you need a PR firm, they're the ones to go to.

This leads to people fantasizing about the damn game and people give us a bunch of bull-blam!- about it expecting us to believe it. DAMN MAN DAMN!!!! RELEASE THE GAME O MY GOD!!! Jesus SHadow Nova, what the hell have they done to you? -Anyway, I own all three systems (that is, Box, ps2 and GCN) and I don't really have any grudges towarda any of the companys.(Shut up, i like Microsoft.) And I say, that X-Box is, by far the best. Then the GCN, and then followed by the PS2, not simply because the PS2 is about five years old, but it's just nto as balanced as the other two systems. Nintendo is Nintendo, and to diss them is just plain arrogance, because, they're Nintendo for god's sakes. But I have to say, in this generation console race, X-Box has the lead, and is keepign it for a long time, well after Halo 2 comes out. If you dissagree with me, you are probably prejudice towards one company or another. My opinion is based off cold solid facts.

lol, they said the rumor was mean-spirited, just hearing you shows what goes around comes around, its just a rumor god, and trying to compare Xbox to PS2 is well... see kids an Xbox is just a computer, the PC has the ability to share license to a company game title, the PS company started its own game series before X box came out, and Xbox has done a number with the Halo series, since it only came out... hell i bet many of you xbox people started with the PC instead of a gameboy or PSX, i also HEARD that killzone might be able to go as far as Halo, "I HEAR"..."AS FAR AS HALO", i dont know where u hear a game being greater than halo! Halo is probably a top-ten, the only game that could beat halo would be a RTS of Halos storyline! and i dont know who started the "Fanboy", i can tell you PS2 has its ups and downs, but its not an empty box i assure u, i dont think Final Fantasy would go to Xbox and i have played Halo C.E., its good when it comes to story... and graphics... the gameplay is good to, but why the hell are the marines so retarded? if im going to ram a warthog into a covenant group under fire i dont see how jumping on and getting killed on impact helps me in any way... the marines get shot too quick, all they use are ARs, and i dont think there protection would actually "protect" them, Gamecube... Ninteno... THats all i can say, there the only reason u would get a cube an Xbox... i hear is the 2nd most productive comany! has anyone realized why MS reduced the price of an Xbox down by $30? because they want to increase sales! PS2 has the most favorable series out there cough*MGS,RE,Crash-ban,Fin-Fantasy,Etc*cough So insulting PS2 is not going to help with the rumors, hell the only person that would make that rumor would be a HaloH8r, and us PS2 people arent like that! *cough*gamecube*cough*, now that i think of it... is Socom Multi-platform?

I've said it once and will say it many more times i think gamecube sucks no offense GC players I don't know why everyone is dissing PS2 because it has some awesome games also I have Xbox and PS2 and I play them equally. Jak 2 and Rachet and Clank are cool games and Xbox doesn't have them so w/e i don't think any one of the both are better.

Halo 2 is not coming out August 24th. Rumor cleared.
