IWHBYD Pathway revealed?
Ok, i think I know how to get it, or at least start us off in the right direction, but its extremely complicated:
Ok, at the very beginning of "The covenant", run past the enemies and aim your spartan laser at the anti-air wraith tank. Shot it dead so that the Hornet that spawns flys around in a large circle. Proceed to kill the enemies around you.
Next, when all the enemies are dead, equip yourself with two plasma pistols. Here's where it gets hard. You must time your shot correctly so that the hornet falls closest to the canyon wall. I was able to do it once. On the second try now, very difficult.
When your charged shot hits the hornet, the hornet should power down and begin decending. continue firing charged shots at it so that it does not repower.
When it hits the ground (it needs to hit the ground as if it were landing), jump onto its roof. If you do not do this, then the hornet will flip itself and you will die. You cannot enter the cockpit, you must be on the roof.
Now, the hornet should fly upwards if you shot it at the right spot. It will fly above the canyon wall which you shoudl now jump on. Upon jumping on the canyon wall go right. This is as far as I got. I went left which turned out to be the wrong way to go, causing me to do it again!
You cannot shoot the driver out of the cockpit, and the hornet ALWAYS spawns. There is never a time when it does not. I am currently doing it on normal difficulty.

Actually all you have to do is start from the beginig kill truth and all the flood be on level dificulty Normal or above. the do it this order 1 3 4 6 7 5 4 6 5 4 5 3 4 most people don't know you don't have to do the ENTIRE sequence.

I finally managed to figure it out. The first time we tried it, I thought we started at the very begining of the mission, but the goofy boyfriend started from the middle so I started it after it didn't work and that time we got it. That is a pain in the butt to run back and forth to get that, but it's worth it. The helmet looks very cool.

its doesnt take that long at all though to get all the skulls, i started at 8:30 last night got all the normal skulls and then at 9:30 when the info on the last skull came out i got that one

The skull does not unlcok the helm. 2. The code with Two 1's Works and has worked for me 2 times. 3.To unlock the helm, you need ALL 13 skulls. 4. It has nothing to do with what charactor you play in co-op. ive done it with the arbiter and Master Chief.

I did it last night on Co-op and apparently that doesn't unlock the helmet even though you pick up the skull, i did it 2 times and i have the skull unlocked but no helmet and my buddy does. We think it might be the fact that i was playing as the arbiter but we're not sure....-blam!-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I did: I kept missing 2 numbers, so that threw me off. Second, when I got right, I jumped through all as if I was going back toward truth, had all flood dead, on normal, after giong to lip of hole, I started sequence. I got skull and helmet, but I heard no music, or lighting of rings. It is very easy to do, just takes like 12 minutes to do the actual sequence. We were on the right track, and I had been asking my poor orchestra instructor if certain colors corresponded with notes, and what "insert note" was if I couldn't tell. I was also trying to find halo sheet music, because I started thinking with marty knowing... Oh well, have, and I dont care that it wasnt me who found, I am just happy it was! (I have already had 45 people ask me where I got my hayabusa armor.)

I hope this works for me, but this has definately worked for everyone? Because I see it's not working for some people and they are starting from the beggining and everything..

[/quote] So this is exactly what to do, kill all the flood and truth, then run through the rings in that order? (Specific Direction??) and then the skull will spawn on the bridge?

There's no time where you have to go through the same ring twice in a row.

Woot. I got it too. It was my 5th skull. The directions are correct. You have to start at the beginning of the level, you have to kill the prophet, and then you do the jumping of rings and the skull spawns on the bridge near the prophet. And yes, there is proof. The entire video of spawning the skull, all 40 minutes of it. In my file share. [Edited on 09.29.2007 12:05 AM PDT]
