Failed to load content? Don't get it
connot play game in campaign, will not load game says " Players failed to load content. any help?

I just got the same issue at the end of the level before floodgate i am playing through this time on legendary. Well i got the disk read error my 360 reset and ever since i cant get floodgate to load on legendary. I beat the game with no glitches or problems on heroic. It gave me the achievement for beating that level on legendary and gave me the shield on campaign select screen so i went to start floodgate and it goes to 20 percent and then back to zero. Bungie or microsoft need to address this!!! There are a ton of people with these problems an update is needed badly.

I'm starting to see a pattern of complaints that I too have been expierencing. I cannot load floodgate or the last lvl Halo. It gets to about 20% sometimes 29% and then goes back down to zero. I've tried cleaning the disc. which at the time was the first time I physically removed the disc from my 360 since I purchased it. Which at the time had a few slight scratches from shipment. "Metal case" I've beaten the game once and have got the skulls and terminals. Then when I went back to get the meta achievements I run into this problem. I'm sorta dissapointed because there is no way i can switch out the disc I dont think. I got mine from gamestop. I tried removing my harddrive and also i've tried doing the clearing of the cache and the cache thing didnt' work and i cant accesss the level without my harddrive and gamer profile so that didn't work. I sure hope we get a solution to this problem. On a few occasions my 360 actually froze on me!!

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE MY DISC NOT LOADING,THIS IS GETTING OUT OF HAND,THE MOST ANTICIPATED LAUNCH WAITING FOR IT NOW I CNT PLAY IT!!!!! the same things happening to me i was able to beat the game with a few failed to read disk errors but i was able to load the level after i restared the game now im trying to beat it on legendary mode and i cant load tsavo highway and the covenant levels its really pissing me off i tried the reseting of the hard drive thing suggested on the first page but it didnt do anything it still goes from 5% to 20% and then crashes any one have any idea when there will be a patch or something to fix this

i have tried two copies of the game. (one being mine the other my friends) both versions reject loading the ark. my LE gets to 7% straight off and then to 20% and then back to 0% and it repeats till i leave. my friends goes 1%-3% and then straight too 20% and then repeats. it's really pissing me off cause it's one of my favourite lvl's.

Mine too. I can load the first two campaign levels but after that it jumps from 1 to 20 then says player fails. The problem progressed, sometimes i was able to play in the beginning but later it was nothing. I played through thecampain a couple times to get all the skulls and the terminals and i finished 8 out of the 9 metagame achievements. Now i cant do the last one and its incredibly frustrating. I would appreciate a little message from Bungie, if only just in this forum

My disc goes unreadable everytime if tries to transition from the last cutscene at the end of level eight(Cortana) to the beginning of level nine(Halo). Even when I try to load level nine(Cortana) and Tsavo Highway separately in campaign theater it loads 7% then skips to 20% and then resets to 0%! All prior levels, cutscenes, and loadings worked flawlessly. My disc has no scratches, nor has the disc even left my Xbox since I put the game in the system when I bought it. Now I'm stuck on level nine(because it won't load) and can't "finish" this so called fight. Put me on the list of unsatisfied people with unreadable discs that are in pristine condition.

Yep, this is a serious problem that is coming to light. There are a lot of us for which it won't work at all, and many who can get so far only to then start having the problem. I can't play at all. Just gonna put it out there that I have this problem too, starting probably a couple days ago with Cortana, but it's now spread to not being able to do any campaign. Also, I cannot load the MP maps High Ground or Valhalla, both of which I had played multiple times before with no problem. I just keep getting the "player has failed to load content screen." I have a LE.

Did any of yours update, or sort themselves out because my ark works fine now apart from their is no cowbell skull :@!! why isnt it there. GRRRR

Same problem =( I bought the game Tuesday and have beaten campaign on legendary, gotten all the skulls, and played alot of matchmaking (every level multiple times) everything was working just fine until last night it just decided it didnt want to load high ground, valhalla, and the covenant.

Yeah.. Having the excact same problem myself. Can't load The Ark, Floodgate and Halo. I'm trying to do The Ark because that's the location of the final silver skull I need for that awsome hayabusa helmet! Very frustrating. I've tried restarting the game, deleting cache, load other maps and cleaned the disk.. nothing works.. Give us official response =( Or at least an update or guide to fix this problem.. Edit: I've already finished the game on heroic and I've been going through all the levels for skulls. And I've played The Ark and the other maps multiple times before alone and with friends. I'm in the same boat as you fellows. I got the regular edition launch night at a local Gamestop and everything was fine until I got to the Ark mission. I actually was able to play that mission for a few minutes in my first run through but took a break for some MP thereafter. The next day I try firing it up again on co-op over Live with the same friend I co-oped with launch night and I get this darn "Player failed to load content issue." I don't know what to do. It seems I can't get it replaced for free through the MS program because it's regular edition and not LE. Should I wait for an update? Should I go back to Gamestop? I might try tomorrow and see if I get a new disc. But based on what you guys said, that might not change anything. I really don't want to clear my HDD in a gamble to make it work. Bungie make a statement. This is a complicated issue I know you're working but let us know something please. I really want to finish the Campaign already.

ok, I take that back, now it wont load the fuking ark.!!!

It is working for me now, I just had to go select other levels, wait for the game to load them up, then go to the ones it was having trouble with and load them. In other words, I couldnt get it to load the final level "Halo". I went to the select mission thing and chose the second part of "Cortana". After the game had that one ready to start, I tried loading "Halo" again and it worked.

its multiplayer maps for me. Specifically guardian. refuses point blank to load with the harddrive in. then when i play it without the drive has some weird bugs like only one character death sound etc odd. got -3 xp on multiplayer now due to match making throwing me out due to failing to load maps twice. utter -blam!-e.

happening to me on covanent right now ...way to ignore the problem AGAIN microsoft ! if this is wide spread , the 360 is going down . sorry i wasted my $$$ !

I also have this problem. It has been random too. I was able to play single player/coop early saturday, but couldnt saturday night. Was able to finish it on Sunday and I am trying to replay it for my metagame achievements and randomly it can or cant load.

This is getting really bad now. I am so disappointed at the lack of an official response. I have been a loyal Halo fan since day one, and this has really disappointed me. Big time.

has anyone heard rumors of bungie doing a game update that solves the harddrive related issue or hav i been given false hope....
