Why are they called frag grenades
Hand grenades, stick grenades[not plasma grenades],etc i mean any grenade that man kind has ever created are frag grenades frag is short for fragmentation which means metal going 1000 mph is flying every where i mean if a hand grenade just blew up it wouldnt hurt you.

the grenade launcher category is a whole other class of grenades there yayfish they "can not" be thrown by hand they are activated when fired from the launcher much like a hand grenade when you pull the pin. otherwise you would blow your self apart running around with them slamming into stuff in your bandolier.
