Why are they called frag grenades
Hand grenades, stick grenades[not plasma grenades],etc i mean any grenade that man kind has ever created are frag grenades frag is short for fragmentation which means metal going 1000 mph is flying every where i mean if a hand grenade just blew up it wouldnt hurt you.

you left out illumination it's like a flare for night time viewing of enemy locations
