all u girls who want btb ranked are retards!!! Btb is the dumbest game out there, how can u like playing it?? AND u want it RanKED TOO??? R U Kidding ME??? all it is, is a bunch of underacheiving players who dont succeed in anything else but btb. it lets u guys rely on many other players to carry you to victory, thats why u want it ranked, because u can rank up easier..btb should always remain in the "social" playlists, because thats all that it is.....SWAT AND SNIPERS on the other hand need to be back,..

Well...now in ranked matches, you dont have to hear that tard you just killed, or any "stupid 10 year olds". And it's good Team Slayer is coming back. I liked it the best in H2. Good update.

IDD , MAKE BTB RANKED ! BTB has made Halo 2 experience so much better , i was obsessed by it for a year , the excietment of running a team of 8 and succesfully end a tactic is godlike !! making it unranked ruins all the fun and just asks for noobs to just go in there to see allot of ppl and just try and kill ppl. I REALLY hope that you will make this ranked again after time , or like you once did , ranked and unranked, But it aint Halo withouth a good old ranked BTB 8v8.

I dont care what anyone else thinks. Im pleased with the matchmaking playlists. 8 man ffa is just a frag fest on thecrappiest player and doesnt really require a lot of skill. Infection is prolly hard to keep score, its more a social thing, for friends in custom games. Keep up the good work and forward thinking bungie. ignore all the criticisim.

Yea but i dnt think HC is gunna be a popular playlist in halo 3 i just think they should make BTB ranked n put oddball n CTF classic in the SKIRMISH THINGY thingy n then it willl be an amazing playlist

I can forsee the lack of a three-man team playlist as being a problem for my cabal of friends. We often get just three of us online and it's rarely fun to take a risk with getting a random fourth man in.

why the hell are the social skirmish gametypes NOT included in the ranked objective playlist? I like playing ranked games but a lot of the stuff I want to play is social only.... why?

Thanks mr sleesstak. It could've been quite simply rectified as well. If the unranked was just until the hosting records sorted themselves out (understandable to a degree) I wouldn't be quite as annoyed. As it is however they haven't said that, just that they'll update it to 8v8. They seem to prefer quantity over quality which is what the H2 BTB has become. Sure you get matched up faster (though in all honesty, I haven't noticed too much of a difference from when I was hovering around the high 20s) the *quality* of the game you get has gone down the toilet. I can only hope the new custom game matchmaking can make up for the shortfall.

Spottedkitty hit it head on. No ranked BTB playlist is a BIG let down. The biggest next to the lack of clan support. I know the little Timmies of the world only play team slayer and I guess it is important to cater to that annoying population ...(thank god for the mute option!) Why have these fantastic huge maps and tons of vehicles for just 4 v 4 ranked games. Pretty weenie. [Edited on 09.23.2007 5:21 AM PDT]

BTB is unranked????? That is BS. 2 v 2 blows. Campaign and Forge then off to COD4.

SWAT doesn't leave any room for many of the amazing new things that have been added to Halo 3 which I'm sure Bungie wants to show off, as well they should. Still, I really hope it doesn't take a year to get it.
