Punk has always had heavy political messages from the beginnings. Go listen to the Ramones, Sex Pistols, Bad Religion, Dead Kennedys, and the list goes on and on. This guy says that punk is his favorite music but yet had no knowledge of what it is or what it was all about. He doesn't like punk he likes these watered down bands that MTV spoonfeeds us and calls punk. To say that any band shouldn't talk about politics is bad enough but to say that he doesn't like a punk band because of a political message is just plain ignorant.
