Is Mass Effect copying Halo?!?!?!
So, Apart from Halo 3, the only other game Ive been looking forward to is Mass Effect... The game looks like it has solid gameplay, amazing graphics, good story, kinda has a StarWars/Halo feel to it... THEN, I come across this screenshot at IGN, and it KINDA REALLY pissed me off... [url=http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/718/718963/img_4886575.html]This little lady[/url] looks alllllllllll to familiar... Like seriously... is it [i] that hard [/i] to be original these days?! Put a wig on it and you got Cortana... damn, they could have at least made her red... or blue, or green... but that purple is cutting it a BIT TOO FAR...

Metroid Prime 3 has a similar character to Cortana. Do I care? no. I think the Mass Effect character is communicating by Hologram.

If anything mass effect is a souped up Advent Rising rip off. Not a halo jack. Although the AI has caught my eye before. The gameplay is the only sellng point to me, Sine there won't be an advent rising 2.

Im not really a fan of 3rd person shooters anyway-it just isnt real. If i was really in the game, i would be in first person. And besides the fact that you can get behind an object, but because of the 3rd person view, see around things that you really shouldnt be able to see. Halo 3 FTW!!!

Guys that is like the basic image of most holograms, halo didn't start it its just a basic layout of what most AIs or holograms look like.

Big T Mac is right thats just a hologram of a person if you watch the trailer you can see one of another guy alien as a purple hologram, I don't Bioware would be stupid enough to copy cortana they'd get a big backlash

Yeah guys, because there has NEVER been a story of an alien race trying to wipe out humanity or someone represented as a hologram...... And read the Mass Effect book that is out, it's very good and the story, beyond the aliens killing humans, is it's own. Nothing like Halo's.
