Halo 4 worst multiplayer halo ever?

They lowered shields and health so you die in .5 seconds when the enemy team is right together, EVERYONE can sprint, which is also dumb. The better a winning team is doing the more power weapons they get to continue to keep the lead and the losing team just keeps getting further and further from victory with no hope of catching up. There's too much going on in halo 4, I don't need all the extra stuff, ordinance drops, too many different weapons, some of which are wayyy too overpowered, i.e.: Needler, Incinerator cannon, sniper rifles. Power ups to include 'speed boost', 'damage boost', and 'overshield'. different skill sets. It's all a little too ridiculous... I used to play halo because it was different from all other FPS's. This halo has become a new Unreal Tournament game, and I like it the least over all the other halo's. Halo 2 had a better multiplayer set up than Halo 4, and that game came out in 2004. That's almost an entire decade of video game innovation and they ruined the game WITH that innovation. TAKE OUT ALL THE EXTRA CRAP. Give me back the game I originally fell in love with. Who agrees, disagrees, leave your replies and I will respond respectfully, after all this IS all opinionated but I can't help feeling I'm not the only one who feels this way.

 •
Posted by: What Is This1
Posted by: AK 47625714 Dead serious. In fact, I wonder why people hold it in such high regard nowadays.
Then explain to me how it is the worst. I can see Halo 2 or Reach as being worst, but Halo 3 I just don't get it.
My apologies for the late reply. Anyway, and I know I say this a lot, Halo 3 was essentially a more polished Halo 2, except it didn't have the fun. Halo 2 was a mess, but its gameplay (post-patch) made up for it; it was fast-paced, fluid, and fun. Halo 3 in comparison felt sluggish and slow. Halo 3's maps were nothing to write home about. Halo 2 had Sanctuary, Midship, Lockout, Containment, Turf, Relic, etc. Halo 3 had The Pit, arguably the best original map in the game, yet that was nothing compared to Halo 2's maps. Halo 3's best overall map was a remake of Midship. Besides Forge and Theater, Halo 3 really didn't offer anything new to the table in terms of gameplay. It didn't really make any significant changes to the formula like Halo 2 did (Whether it was for better or for worse is for another time). By the end of its life, before ODST and Reach, I was pretty tired of the Halo formula. There's also Halo 3's piss-poor netcode (Bullet refunding, double reload, blood-shots, etc), terrible melee system (Pre and post-patch), Equipment (Bubble Shield and Regenerator can burn in hell), and other minor things that bug me. -------------- On the subject of Reach. It's a flawed game for sure, but I still enjoyed it. Not as much as Halo 2 or CE, but certainly more than 3. I respect that Bungie at least tried to change up the Halo formula. Mixed results, yeah, but I think the good elements outweigh the bad. [Edited on 11.16.2012 3:18 AM PST]
