As far as the matrix goes, I like to think of it as movie about a possible future. Next, a possible reason for religious suggestions in Halo (ring over an angels head in case you missed the most obvious). The covenant themselves are highly religious, and I'm sure there are other books that relate to Halo...the Korran (spelling?), that book for Mormons, etc. Anyway, I think the problem some people are having is down right stupid. From some replies I think some people think you're suggesting that the bible is copying Halo. Ridiculous people. Next, can you reinterate this forerunner thing. That just means one who came before. Reclaimer means one who makes pure. A general word perhaps not referring to Jesus. Also in your Earth invasion reference. They seemed to vague. Oh wait, the Old Testament is vague so it can fit any time frame. Plasma-Fire. That was a desperation example. By the way, don't forget the Ark. The place mentioned at the end of Halo 2.
