Ok, bear with me here: Put yourself in Frankie's shoes... His JOB is to keep up with the buzz on the forums (pun not intended). There are so many posts already, his job is hard enough. I know when I go to work, I try to make my job as simple as possible. I think Frankie was royally pissed after the new work load was delivered upon him... whether it be by Bungie or Microsoft or anyone. The Frankie in the post sounded about as rushed as the E3 update, and nearing a pure, discernable anger. I think the post he made was done out of anger, a basic, lashing-out due to the overwhelming stress placed upon him with this whole bees thing. Plus, everyone here still remembers Frankie is a FORMER EMPLOYEE OF OXM. For goodness sakes guys, he's established at both parties, I think he's well in the know as to what is going on. Give the man the credit he deserves. And finally, "No clue how that rumor gained so much momentum", for those of you who HAVEN'T figured it out yet, was a cut directed at the naivete of this forum. The statement mixes his sarcastic personality with his dissappointment with the level of intelligence of Halo's fans. He is clearly appalled that so many forum members would fall so blindly for this hoax, and I can't say that I blame him. He's not alluding to any lack of knowledge on his part, he's just pointing out his disbelief at the inability of the general forum population to utilize any form of self-control. Maybe for once in your lives, you should pay attention to what's placed in front of you in black and white (or blue and lighter blue, as it were)... HALO 2 WILL COME OUT NOVEMBER NINTH, 2004...
