Push SPACE. I set that to the Action button, though, if that doesn't work.
As for the medikit terminals, try holding tab. If that doesn't work, you might not be at a medikit terminal
I feel heppy, that I actually made it to the 4th level on Major Damage...Took me two days though...Now I'm stuck near that crushing elevator thing on level 4. (DONT TELL ME HOW! I want to find out for myself)
