Help?!?!?! I downloaded the files and have Marathon running on my PC, but I'm having trouble once the actual game loads. It loads EXTREMELY DARK. Dark to the point that I can't see anything hardly. However, if I click off of it, like on my desktop or another winow the color reverts to the normal brightness just like everything else. As soon as I click on it again, it goes DARK again. I did manage to find the preferences menu through the darkness, and even changed the brightness to lightes, but it was to no avail. I used to have trouble playing games thanks to the games being too dark, even though I had the manual monitor settings (the ones you an adjust across the bottom of the monitor) set all the way up. I finally messed around with the advanced video card settings and found a setting that actually affects games. Unfortunately, it doesn't do anything for Marathon. I turn up the gamma and brightness, and it just makes my entire screen extremly light, but the Marathon game stays just as dark as before. Sorry for the long post, but I thought I'd explain what I have tried, to prevent any useless suggestions. Thanks in advance though.
