Halo 2 Storyline
I hope that no one else has brought this up. For all of you that have read First Strike, doesn't the new screenshot almost remind you of the tunnels that the Spartans found on Reach under the ONI facility? No where on the book does it say that it takes place [i] before [/i] Halo 2, so maybe the next game starts off where Halo 1 ends, with the MC in the Longsword. How else, short of including the book with every Halo 2 purchase, could Bungie fill in that many gaps in the storyline? And to support my idea is the fact that Bungie has said before that you don't spend that much time on Earth compared to the rest of the game, and that the announcement trailer (where the MC jumps out of the space station, for those who don't remember) is [i] not [/i] the opening cutscene, therefore there is at least one level before that.
